Can you feel it? The air is crisper, the days a little shorter, and maybe your energy feels a little lower than it did in summer. However I have to admit, I absolutely love autumn! 🍂 Every year my pumpkin collection grows (I just can’t help myself) and our studio feels magical during this season. Fairy lights twinkle, candles cast their cosy glow and there’s a comforting warmth that makes everything feel calm and inviting.

Each year I do my best to harness autumns energy of slowing down, letting go of what no longer serves me and embracing moments of stillness, balance, and renewal. I feel like this is the perfect time to implement nourishing rituals.
That’s why we have put together 3 simple Autumn wellness tips to help you feel happy, healthy and grounded as the season unfolds.

With the arrival of chilly weather, staying active can require extra effort. We might feel like hibernating (and sometimes that’s okay!), but staying active is key to boosting mood and keeping the body strong. Autumn is the perfect time for mindful movement like yoga, Pilates, or long walks among the falling leaves. Movement not only boosts circulation and energy, but it also helps regulate hormones, supports your immune system and helps release stress and anxiety.

Meditation tip: Establishing a daily meditation practice helps to ground us in the here and now. It helps us to appreciate and enjoy our days rather than just rushing through them. My advise is to give yourself at least 10 minutes each day to live in the moment, not be caught in past or future thoughts. Autumn's Wisdom
Nicky is currently working on a NEW Autumn meditation which we are going to title 'Autumn Wisdom' it was inspired by his journal and reflections on the beauty of Autumn.

Autumn is the season where the world exhales, a slow, golden breath that drifts across fields, forests, and city streets. The air cools and sharpens, carrying with it the faint spice of fallen leaves and the distant smoke of wood fires. Each breeze feels like a gentle turning of the page, reminding you that the year is slipping gracefully toward its quiet conclusion.
The trees wear their most extravagant garments—scarlet, amber, ochre, and burnished bronze— Leaves tremble at their branches before surrendering to gravity, swirling downward in little dances that carpet the earth in patchwork quilts. Even the light changes: the sun, once fierce and white-hot in summer, mellows into a honey-gold glow, casting long shadows and bathing the afternoons in warmth that feels more tender than triumphant.
Autumn is abundance and nostalgia intertwined. The markets brim with pumpkins, apples, and each carrying the earth’s last offering before winter claims the soil. The taste of the season is hearty and comforting: cinnamon clinging to cider, nutmeg gracing pies, roasted chestnuts filling the air with their toasty sweetness.
It’s also a season of sound—the crisp crunch of boots on frosted grass, the chatter of migrating geese arrowing through the sky, the hush of evenings where the world grows quieter, as if preparing itself for rest.
And yet, for all its softness, Autumn has an edge. Mornings arrive cloaked in silver mist, and twilight comes sooner each day, pressing close with its cool fingers. It is the season of transitions—between light and dark, warmth and cold, life and dormancy. That fleetingness is what makes it so hauntingly beautiful.
Autumn is not just a season. It is a poem written in wind and colour, a reminder that endings can be as radiant as beginnings.

The trees, once green and ordinary, are now aflame—clad in rust, crimson, and molten gold. Their leaves tremble, fragile before surrendering to gravity, spinning in slow, graceful pirouettes. They land without sound, yet the ground becomes a tapestry, stitched together by the patient hand of the wind. Step once, and you hear the crisp crunch of time itself, the voice of a year thinning out, fading, yet shining more brilliantly for its impermanence.
The sun lowers, mellow and honeyed. It spills across the landscape like a memory, gilding the edges of barns, rooftops, and riverbanks. Shadows stretch long and languid, weaving evening into the hours of the afternoon. You notice the hush between birdcalls, the silence gathering under branches, the anticipation of something about to sleep.
In the fields and markets, Autumn offers her harvest: pumpkins plump as lanterns, apples glowing like polished jewels, corn wrapped in whispering husks. The air hums with the scent of cinnamon and nutmeg, the slow comfort of bread baking, cider steaming in chipped mugs. It is a feast of warmth against the oncoming chill, a reminder that the earth, even as it withers, is generous.
Mornings arrive clothed in mist, the world blurred as though viewed through memory’s veil. Dew beads on spiderwebs, strung across hedgerows and fences.
And always, the wind moves through it all—lifting leaves, rattling branches. There is something both mournful and majestic in a chorus that echoes the season itself
Autumn is not merely a span of days on the calendar. It is a living poem, written in shifting light and rustling leaves, in the fragrance of smoke and spice, in the hush before winter’s silence. It is the world’s most radiant farewell, a reminder that endings, too, can blaze with beauty
You step into Autumn as though stepping into a dream. The air greets you first—cool, crisp, edged with the faint sweetness of decay, like apples softening in the grass. It stings your lungs just enough to wake you, filling you with a kind of clarity you didn’t know you’d been missing.
The trees arch overhead like cathedral windows, blazing with colour. Their leaves drift down around you in slow, deliberate spirals, and when they land beneath your boots, they whisper in brittle voices, crunching like secrets revealed. Each step feels ceremonial, as though you’re walking on the year’s final offering.
A breeze lifts your hair, brushes your cheek. You close your eyes, and for a moment, you are entirely still. The wind carries the scent of woodsmoke from some distant chimney, the perfume of damp earth, and the faint spice of fallen pine needles. It feels like being wrapped in both memory and promise—something nostalgic, yet not finished.
The sunlight slants differently now—golden, forgiving. It touches your face warming your skin even as the air cools around you. Shadows grow long, painting the path ahead in stripes of dark and light, and you find yourself slowing down, savoring the hush that descends earlier each day.
You pass orchards heavy with fruit, baskets spilling over with apples, their skins polished red and green. Someone nearby presses cider, and the air is thick with its perfume: tart, sweet, familiar. A farmer’s market stall gleams with pumpkins and gourds, their ridges catching the late light like carved stone. You run your fingers across their rough skins and feel the earth’s generosity, a farewell feast before frost closes the table.
Evening gathers quietly, folding itself into the sky. Mist rises from the fields and clings to your coat. Overhead, geese cut across the heavens in a perfect V, their calls reverberating through your chest. You tilt your head back, watching them vanish, and feel something in you stir—a pull toward movement, change, release.
Autumn draws you inward, even as it points outward toward the vastness of time. It reminds you that beauty does not always reside in beginnings—that there is glory in endings, too. As you walk home, the crunch of leaves beneath your feet and the chill in the air leave you both humbled and lifted, as though you’ve been given a private sermon spoken by the world itself.
Autumn is not just a season you witness. It is a season you inhabit, one that inhabits you in return.
